Wedding Bootcamp Continues...in NYC at New York Wedding Dance

The crafty gals over at The Wedding Salon sent word regarding a fab opportunity they are sponsoring for our NYC brides!

New York Wedding Dance is offering complimentary dance lessons (for all those brides who want their groom to cut a rug, without tearing a train). The event will be held on Wednesday, January 27th at their location: 1261 Broadway, Suite 510.

Happy New Year from DBLA!

How can it be? Is 2010 really here to stay?? For the absolute love, I mean, I was just getting my head around 2009. The bright side of course is we're ready for this brand new, shiny penny that is 2010. I do love a fresh start. It's thrilling to know there's a yearly reset button when it comes to diet, exercise, or any other resolution that tickles your fancy. Calling 'Do over!' is a wonderful feeling, and we all have a shot at a renewed take on all those lingering 'to dos' on your list.

We at DBLA are grateful for a wonderful year. Many DBLA brides shared with us their photos of their party dress after they purchased from us, and we're always very honored to be sent these pics. It lets us know that we're doing our job and clothing our brides in the ultimate of luxury, but at a fraction of the price. We always love giving our brides the opportunity to eat their cake, and save their pennies for an extra tier or two.

Personally, 2009 was a whirlwind for my husband and me. We welcomed our first baby, Colin, who's four months this week. What a difference a year makes! We feverishly nested in our first house just in time for Colin's arrival in September. We are exited about the adventures which lie ahead for us in 2010...with teething coming upon us fast!
